Ate here on our way to Grand Canyon. Good food for the price! Had American(Burgers, Club Sandwiches and Chicken). Local joint for the tribal members. Would for sure eat here again if in the area. Would try the Indian fry bread, looked good on another table.

Great food and great service what more could i ask for? This resto is within Hualapai Lodge and near route 18 if you're planning to hike Havasupai Falls and you can eat here before and after the hike :-) The food was so good and very filling i think i ate like i haven't eaten for a day and we didn't even hiked that day hahaha! Our server was so nice and was able to give us more information regarding other hiking trails and/or attractions in the area especially how many hours to drive to it (she's obviously a local so she know these places like the back of her hand) We really enjoyed our brunch and the next time i come back to Arizona to conquer the falls i would definitely eat here again. :-) They also have a gift shop and in front of a gas station so this is also a good spot for stop overs.

Great rte 66 stopover. I didn't look at the menu long, my eyes zoomed in on the sirloin tip stew. Awesome comfort food, without being heavy. Served with Indian frybread. Yum.

Nothing fancy but perfect for hikers heading out to the falls. Huge menu. I got the vegetarian burrito and the rest of the table ordered burgers. Everyone was happy with their meals. And the breakfast was so appreciated! Oatmeal, fruit, bagels, and lots more. I was pleasantly surprised.

Our experience was excellent! It is a very casual restaurant within the hotel. Our server was very sweet and gave great recommendations. I had the pork green chile stew which came with a side of freshly made fry bread and enjoyed every bite of my food. I switched back and forth between dipping the bread in the stew and eating the bread with honey. The boyfriend ordered the "taco" which is beans, ground meat, lettuce, and tomato over a large fry bread (with sour cream and salsa on the side). He also really liked his dish but said the meat didn't have as much flavor as it could have.

Stopped here on the way in and out of Supai. Since it's silly not to get the food that this place is known for, I got the Hualapai stew in and pork and green chili out. Both came with frybread and both were VERY good and flavorful. Others in our party got the standard cafe food and it was very good also. The chef salad was so large that my husband could scarcely finish it. The service is not speedy, but I suspect that they are on res time. I'm in no hurry and our server was friendly. We were going to drive into Kingman on the way out so we could have a beer, but I wanted that pork and green chili. Put honey on half your frybread. YUM!!!

So let's start with the negatives - the Hualapai Lodge is located downwind from the sewer ponds of the local waste treatment facility. We walked gagging from our car to the check-in desk. We were "greeted" by an extremely unfriendly woman who acted as if our checking into the hotel was a major imposition and we were interrupting something that was, to her, much more important. Sitting on the counter was a placard that let us know that ear-plugs were available free of charge. Cool, right? Wrong. The sign went on to explain that the train tracks which were just feet from the hotel was frequented by trains blowing their horns EVERY 15 minutes 24 hours a day. That turned out to be truth in advertising. It was difficult to sleep due to the trains and the smell but we were exhausted so we didn't want to drive back to Kingman, AZ. When we got to the room we noticed that the air conditioner was broken. We discovered, later, that the hair dryer was also broken. We went to the desk to ask about local restaurants and were told that the restaurant in the hotel - The Diamond Creek - was the only restaurant in town and that they close at 9pm. The food was not bad but the service was laughably awful. You might be asking, "why the 3 stars if everything above is true?" The saving grace of this hotel is the river rafting trip at the bottom of The Grand Canyon that they run out of the hotel. It is a amazing trip and the best way to experience The Canyon. The guides were great, the trip amazing - including lunch and snacks, plenty of white water rapids, and a great helicopter ride at the end of the run. A truly special day. The Hualapai Lodge is worth putting up with in order to experience the Hualapai guided, Grand Canyon tour of the Colorado River.

Stick to the items based on fry bread and you will do pretty well. My wife had the Hualipai Taco and it was surprisingly good. My green chili burrito was pretty weak, and barely warm. Good service and gigantic drinks with decent pricing.

Neat and wide open cafeteria style restaurant attached to a hotel. Had a large menu with a decent variety. The quality of the food was about what you would expect, not high class, but fairly good with large portions. Nothing to complain about the service. An average experience overall, I would stop by here again if I was passing through but not something to go out of your way for.

After reading the other reviews I ordered the pork green chili and it lived up to my expectations. The fries were great and the service friendly and fast. We ordered chicken fried steak, open face roast beef and a Philadelphia beef Sammy. The servings were large but it was cafeteria quality food. My daughter ordered the spaghetti and the tomato sauce was good... home made and chunky. All in all it was a good experience and good value.

This was place was decent. My clam chowder was really good, but my roast beef was a little dry. My friend's club sandwich and fries were delicious, but another friend's food resembled something out of a TV dinner (veggie lasagna). Other than that the waitress, Paula, was very nice. She made some good recommendations for us as travelers. Oh, my friend would like to add that her milkshake was mostly milk though.

I am giving 5 stars mostly for the service here. Picture this: we had just come from a day of hiking in the Grand Canyon National Park and hadn't eaten since 2. We drove 2 hours to get here and made it at 8:45. They close at 9. There are no other restaurants in the whole town. We check into the hotel and get to our table at 8:50. I've worked retail and been a server. I know how rough it can be after a long day and people come in right at closing time. The people here could not have been nicer about it. They made us up some dinner and it was all delicious. I had a patty melt burger and the seasoned fries. The fries were amazing and everything I needed after a long day of hiking. If you need a place to stop on Route 66, come here.

This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise during our trip to Havasu Falls. Hungry after all day of travelling we found out there was not much dining choice in Peach Springs and walked in thinking we had no other choice. I ordered stew from the local menu which tasted great and really filled me up. The fry bread was to die for. My boyfriend went more traditional with a burger. It was a good burger but when they delivered the Indian tacos to the table next to us, I could see he had a little entree envy. This said, even if there was another choice, we still would go to Diamond Creek.

It's more like a canteen not a restaurant. The service was ok. The food was good. And it was pretty cheap. We had the beef tips special and broccoli soup and it both was good.

Great place to stop for a meal on route 66. We had the wings (great flavor), chilli burger (awesome), classic BLT (can't really mess that one up), fire burger (good) and yummalicious seasoned fries. The portions are huge including the 500 gallons of soda they bring. And the staff is super friendly and accommodating. All in all a wonderfully cheap and cheerful pit stop on our road trip.

Comparable to an upscale diner or a modest cafe. Don't drive out for it but if you're doing the route 66 loop anyway then it's a lovely stop.

55 miles east of Kingman, Az on Historic Route 66 I found a gem of a place. Big portions, good ingredients, and lots of comfort food. Lots of choices for lunch and dinner, one of the places you don't know what to order because every thing on menu sounds good. I also had a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, ham and hash browns, everything was perfect. While in truth there is not much else around, at dinner the locals appeared to flock to this place. The pork green chili ANYTHING is one of the specialties and 4 days and 300 miles later I am still dreaming about it. Also free wifi for you travelers.
